Where to find the Interchange in Atomfall

One of your biggest mysteries in Atomfall is discovering the location of the Interchange and what secrets it holds. The government is hiding something from us, and our character has taken the reins in uncovering this facility and its purpose. Here’s exactly where to find the Interchange in Atomfall.

Atomfall Interchange location

The Interchange has multiple entrances you can use to access various locked areas, with the following two locations being the best to start with:

• The northeast part of Slatten Dale (31.0 E, 77.8 N)
• The southern part of Wyndham Village (33.8 E, 78.3 N)

Later, you’ll also find Interchange entrances in Casterfell Woods at coordinates (27.6, 83.6 N) and Skethermoor at (39.6 E, 73.1 N.) However, these are much trickier to reach if you’re early in your playthrough. Nonetheless, the storylines leading up to these two locations are worth exploring, regardless of whether you actively use them.

While you’ll gradually gain clues about the Interchange’s whereabouts from interactions with Atomfall’s NPCs, you can also stumble upon it accidentally as you explore the map. If you like exploring the world before taking on quests, there’s a strong possibility you’ll find these spots without trying, letting you skip a few steps and move straight into learning more about this facility.

However, the Slatten Dale Interchange has numerous outlaws nearby that’ll cause trouble if you get too close, while the Wyndham Village entrance is a private, Protocol-owned property. Sneaking by them is your best bet, but you can also run in with your favorite weapon and clear out any obstacles if that’s what you prefer. It’s mostly up to personal preference, but sneaking in will make future quests less complicated.

What is the Interchange in Atomfall?

The Interchange is Atomfall’s first major mystery once you leave your starting bunker. The tutorial scientist will mention the Interchange to you and recommend you search around the world for it, giving you your first Lead. From here onward, you can find additional clues from NPCs like Molly Jowett in Slatten Dale and Captain Grant Sims in Wyndham Village.

Upon entering either Interchange entrance, you’ll spot a large bunker door to open. The door keypads are available on the upper floors in both locations and are accessible using staircases against the walls. Your modified keycard will get you through this barrier, letting you explore the facility freely. What you find from here depends on which entrance you use.
